Took the V8 on a belated (Dry) Drive It Day run on Sunday. Drove the A4059 Penderyn Road (Nicer than the A470 has become). I don't go that way often, as it is a bit out of my way. I remember many years ago, the Abercynon Road Club (Cycling club), of which I was then a member, used to have club runs on a Sunday (In the Autumn and Winter - ie not the racing season) and that road was one of our routes. I always did like that road and had almost forgotten what a nice run it is. It suits the V8's torque but with the twists and especially the camber changes and undulations, a well driven Lotus Elan would show you a clean pair of heels

Today a nice looking maroon Triumph TR6 has been past (I wonder if Llangynidr Service Station have it in for work?) a few times.
