You must have limitless patience. I would have got bored of working with the metal by now and gone off to do something else.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

It's a measure of the man that he's skimming the underside that no-one is going to see without a torch, so that you can't see the repairs.

-Poor guy would probably have a fit if he saw some of the pigeon crap welding * holding together the underside of my Discovery

*Functional and strong enough, but done on the drive with a deadline of being able to get to work on Monday morning

ive seen loads of repairs to structural points finished with filler like that... just without the welding.... :lol:

Yeah, I know what you mean. Chap's is proper metal with a few microns of skim to get the surface show perfect.

I'm not referring to the "Period Correct" type of repairs involving two pounds of isopon and a 10 foot roll of chickenwire :roll:

That's truly shocking, you forgot the parcel tape! :P Parcel tape; substrate to more tonnes of Cataloy than any other genre of sticky stuff on a roll since 1969, by Royal appointment.
