no its really good on the body work front (hopefully) Its my third mr2 ,my first was brilliant, so much fun and not that old then back in 1997 which I
sold to a mate but it was still pretty rotten at just 10years old ,
my 2nd mr2 was cheap and a complete rot box ,I was over optimistic how hard it would be to restore, then the engine blew and i found
the engine mounts ,hubs etc were all cold welded together ,and the bumper bars ,sills ,wheel archs ,and most of
the floor had disintegrated ,It broke my heart to scrap it as it had very low miles ,believe you me these cars bloody rot
this one is different ,because its had alot less owners(3 with one for 18years) ,garaged,74kmiles ,and waxoyled everywhere and I mean everwhere
its been maintained regardless of cost then the last owner who owned it for 5 years just parked it in his garage and hardly used it doing about
1000miles in 5 years ,so hopefully Ive got a good one ,but I'm not satisfied with just a good one I want one thats mint

and totally standard
I'm gonna get the engine ,gearbox ,suspension and brakes all good then go for a full respray next year there is bodywork to be done as being garaged all its lifes its got dents and bumps everywhere ,the interior is full leather and in great condition and everything else inside is in great condition ,plus the tbar actually
doesnt leak !
