On display in Al Ain Mall, Al Ain, UAE. These beauties are from the personal collection of the chap who owns the Mercedes franchise. They are on display because the shopping centre is running a "Win a Merc" raffle.

A 190, a 219, a 220 and a 220SE convertible - all are used regularly and show that use, they are NOT trailer queens.

I saw the back of a big pre war saloon earlier (Could have been a Rolls) and an MGR V8 has just driven by (Haven't seen one of those in ages). I suppose they're a strange case of almost being classicwhen new; perhaps a bit like very good reproduction furniture and now they're all knocking twenty years, so almost classic in they're own right. Pity the government won't recognise them as being historic  :!: A lot of RV8s went to Japan (So RHD) but were repatriated, when they reached about five years old, as the Japanese either don't allow or have very harsh rules about cars over about five years old (No doubt helping to sustain demand for new cars). Pity we couldn't get rid of politicians in the same way  :!:

Not exactly a spot in the normal sense, but if I win the Lottery today, I'll be off to Holland to buy this http://www.prewarcar.com/classifieds/ad63013.html. If only  :!:
Rules exist for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.

Please make and post large photographic images of this event. Please pay particular attention to any partially clothed females you encounter along the way. :D

On Friday an AEC Routemaster double decker bus pulled up outside our dealership. Looked in a sorry state but restorable for a brave soul. Then on my way home, I drove through kidderminster and it was parked in a van sales pitch on the A449
