Now in its third year, and by the looks of the attendance it's still struggling to get established. A pity really, as the organisers had laid on a couple of live bands over the weekend for the campers (which brought back a few memories, I played with bands in the clubhouse many times back in the 80's). Great facilities and easy access (it's about five minutes from J5 of the M5 motorway) mean it should attract a higher attendance than it does. A pity.
Anyway...enjoy.

Local Mini clubs put on a fair showing, as ever.

'66 1275 Cooper S was simply stunning.

The jury's out on the chrome Mini Special arches, but Pageant Blue and Mambas is always a winning combo.

Mk4 shell. Mk1 logbook. And they wonder why the DVLA are clamping down. Looked nice, though.

As above. Redeemed itself though by being bike-engined, and painted in an eye-searing green.

Too cute. One of the very last pre-facelift '67 Morris 1100's. I'd really love one of these.

HB Viva from the days when Vauxhall referred to their metallic paint range as 'Starmist'. ;D

Corvette was gorgeous. Plenty of late-model American tin about, surrounded by 50-something men in satin club jackets.

Rear fin detail of a '59 Pontiac Catalina with 389/Tri-Power combo.

'58 Studebaker Golden Hawk.

One for the two-wheeled Retro-lovers. I think that's one of the very last FS1-E's from 1980. Honda dates from 1969/70.

'69 Coupe De Ville was simply VAST.

'89 Mini Thirty had more chrome on it than a chrome thing, with a side dish of chrome.

'66 A-H 3000 Mk3 was a late arrival, and sounded magnificent.

£5200 would buy you this Ranchero. All there, but showing signs of having had a hard life.

Really tidy '84 Mayfair, would look better on stock rear lamps though, IMHO.

This is the one I'd have taken home with me. Flawless.

Was chatting to the owner of this lovely 2000E Corsair. It's coming off the road for some much-needed TLC this winter. There's a LOT of weding needed as you can see from the various bulges round the sills/arches. best bit was inside, though...a pukka radiomobile 8-track player....and he's got a home version too which records them...and a supply of NOS blanks. Too cool for school.
