Someone sent me this recently. I'm told it's a genuine ad from 1964 when WD-40 was first released.

You'd never get away with that wording nowadays eh? Ah, nostalgia......

I just had to steal that, it's the epitome of both ambiguous and dubious, I love it. Mind you, VW can come up with a serious squelcher or two. Turn the sound up.

I shall be having a copy of that on my office wall, let us see how long it lasts once the HOD sees it when she does her rounds at the start of next term! I could try to kid her on that the ad is kosher, but I have a rubbish poker face.
