Re: Rich / Tractorman
Rich, you're missing a rare sight and no mistake! It's an old tractor being used as a metronome while a Wurzels tribute band plays by it!
No, really, it is!

I did look on youtube but I couldn't find it hence the facebook link.
I'll see if I can download it then I can email it to you if you are interested.
It is definitely worth watching. it made me grin like a Cheshire cat.
Oh, and either get a decent computer or change ISP. Next time you are over here, if you are up near staffs let me know and I will give you a half decent laptop.

Perhaps they wanted to hire Ginger Baker and could only find a ginger tractor? Though, according to a drummer friend, the tractor would keep better time!

Timing is overrated. Listen to some of Led Zeppelin's best ever recordings and it's as though the drums were in a different building but it still works. Terry, how hard did you search for that on youtube?
In fact, youtube is - perhaps unsurprisingly - home to a great many musically talented agricultural vehicles. I really ought to think about logging into my work and putting an hour or two in, but a musical tractor trumps office stuff every time.
And there's more here.
Has Seasick Steve seen this stuff? I imagine he'll be bringing a tractor on his next tour if so.

Not very, I am supposed to be at work although I am writing SQL queries for a SAP migration which is about as exciting as watching paint dry.JPB wrote: Terry, how hard did you search for that on youtube?

SAP? As an end user (and IT support guy), let me say...
Re: Rich / Tractorman
Don't go there. it is 100x better than the utter garbage that is in use currently but migrating between systems with differing formatting is a complete pain in the bum.
Today I am sorting out customer details, order history (so we know what products everyone has) and warranty information. Currently it seems to be spread over 20odd tables and it all needs to end up in 3. Current DB has over 1000 tables in it a large number of which are empty, the manufacturer of the system no longer exists so there is no support available and the tables have useful names like ACR01 and CPO-95
No naming scheme that I can work out. ACR to me should be something like accounts receivable but in reality it is Customer Records with a prefixed A so it appears closer to the top of the list. CPO-95 contains the user IDs against their actual names and passwords (in plain text). I can't work out what CPO stands for from that and the 95 I am guessing is the year it was designed.
The biggest headache is that some of the fields contain commas so I am having to use TSV for export which SAP doesn't understand then doing a find-replace (handily automated with notepad++) to replace tabs with comma quote.
Sorry, completely unrelated to the original post or anything to do with cars but it is giving me a headache.
