Interesting old photos

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Interesting old photos

Having what would have turned out to be pretty much a final pre war fling, is this Morris 8 Tourer. It certainly looked very nice back then, with quiet roads and nice weather :D . Yes I know 50 million people were soon to die and that TB was still a killer in Britain, so my rose tinted spectacles have not completely clouded my judgement. However it must have been a good time to own a car, especially if you were able to afford something like and MG TA. A priceless collection I would say - http://www.england-in-color-1939.com/.

Taken a little earlier, is this holiday snap of my grandmother and my grandfather's Wolseley Hornet in North Wales - Image .
