Ok, so once again it's not mine, but I have just spent the day working on it to prep it for sale (as a restoration project). Wanted to share this one, thought it might raise a few eyebrows

Well that would get you noticed, the paint's quite bright too. 
Off the road since 1983 though, and not duty free, what's the history, ex-resort, ex-military, Portuguese shell, Australian? Fascinating, good luck.

That looks ace, the paint job really suits it. I can even forgive it the wheels (pet hate, don't mind me).

Given the current cost of 10" tyres, I can see the sense in the larger wheels, on the other hand I'd love to see it on the obligatory set of period Cooper reverse rim steels with 165/70%x10 SP Sport replicas.vulgalour wrote:That looks ace, the paint job really suits it. I had my '71 on 10" minilites. Minis look best on little wheels, 12/13s look too big in the arches imo.
