Series III Landy too. I have just got as far as the Austin, no complaints so far

Just wondering about the "repair" Sam did to the brake master cylinder by drilling out the end of it and pushing out the piston.In plugging the hole with the bolt and washer, would the piston not hit the end of the screw, even if it is a grub screw?Or is it only a chamber where the pipe is screwed on and not near it at all?
I like the Lada Ed has, ( I see he has another in the background ).She looked good when she was all done.I know they are only really Fiat 124 shaped butt of jokes etc.., but there not the worse looking motor.
