Tonight's the night then!

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Never play chess with a pigeon. It will knock all the pieces over, S*#t on the board and then strut around pretending it won.

Depending on who you read it was supposed to be either 0600 or 1111 so it's already happened...

Sadly for some, the world has and will end today. I heard something about this on the radio and it would appear that the way the present epoch has ended led some to assume it meant the end of the world. Apparently this calender has simply been reset to nil (Something like that) but there is another epoch starting.

Ubuntu, Android and other Linux distros will cope, I'm rubbing my hands together in anticipation of the sheer quantity of Windows users who'll be hanging themselves in their airing cupboards by now. :P

Nah, the whole thing's a load of old epochs. :D

Oh wait, I just looked out and the villages are both awash with frogs, locusts and other small two seaters.

Sadly (?) it was just a count down calendar that the Mayans had, that ended in some unspecified change.

It was NEVER about the ending of the world.

Personally, I suspect "The Coming of the Great White Handkerchief" to be imminent.

I know where my towel is..........

If you haven`t a clue what we re on about then try reading the Douglas Adams books, the Trillogy in 4 parts, either that or you could try Hitch hiking to the restaurant at the end of the universe?

Cue SEP field.....
