Have they managed to sell the Alpine? It's been advertised for a while now and is still live on this site?

Fiat was gorgeous - wish I had 16 grand going spare!

I laughed at how easily Edd removed an old rear suspension bush with a long stud and over-sized socket

No sign of the stud shearing at all as it was tightened

In defence of Brewer. No, seriously, oi! come back......

Wow! It's taken this thread seven posts to descend into the usual "Mike Brewer gets on my tit ends" type of thing. ;)

I've been known to call the poor fella some bad things in a web forum or three before now but I met him at a car club event late last year and would have to say that he's actually a really nice sort of bloke who has none of the standoffishness that you get with some famous faces. I found him likeable enough. :|

I saw him at Ford Fair few years ago, and he just exudes that Mockney wide boy attitude that makes me shudder. I love the programme and I think old Edd is cracking, what spoils it for me is the whole fake buying and selling bit, you can see it's scripted, "Well Mike, it's a cracking car, really great, I'd like to offer you a considerable amount under what you're asking" etc etc Someone once said they ran a competition at a show somewhere for you to be a 'buyer' in one episode (allegedly). It just ruins a cracking programme for me.

Watching Edd rebuild an alternator on Tuesday (well, change the bearings anyway) was quite interesting. I have always taken my dodgy ones to my handy alternator and starter place to have them fixed before now. I have a 120a one for my range spare that has grumbley bearings in the garage, i'm going to have a go at fixing it myself!
