I used the same vynil to cover the seats and interior trim

You should be able to alter the alternator to bring the adjustment bolt across closer to the engine. You move it round by 120 degrees anti-clockwise as you look at that pic. The ear that has the adjuster on now becomes the bottom pivot, and the bottom pivot moves around to the top. It will be a lot neater to look at, and judging by the high standard of the rest of the work you've done, it will fit in perfectly when it's done.

I've started wiring things in and have also re-routed the brake lines through the wing of the car

This weekends plan is to connect up the water hoses and starter motor wiring
Still a way to go but i'm making progress

Hooked up the starter motor, exhaust and hoses just before Christmas and fired her up

Ran a bit rough but not bad for the first fire up, switched off the engine and it wouldn’t start again
Had a sulk covered the car and left it till February
Traced the fault to a broken wire on the Distributor and a faulty ignition relay
Fired her up and drove her for the first time under her own power since 2010

Prop shaft has had to be made as my attempt at making the shaft wasn’t very good (banana shaped)
Straight through exhaust sounds great

Once the weather improves I’ll start on the body work
The car has picked up a few dents from being stored off site plus i sprayed the primer on to thick and after drying for a week it cracked all over
