breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Don't think you need pedals on that.

That's a feeling that I know well. I'm so old that when I sit in a rocking chair I can't get it going.
But my missus came up with this: A clockwork rocking chair.

Mercedes, but which model I'm not sure.
Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

:?: That's the same link that brought up the rather lovely, 2 door American Volvo 242 in the earlier post.

Maybe "someone" :P hadn't saved any links since posting the ad for the Volvo, so ended up pasting that link twice? Maybe.
Is the car in question a recently imported S1 Discovery 300tdi automatic 5 door with usable sidesteps, stock ride height, a decent roof cloth and no rust? If it's not that, or a P38 with petrol V8 and LPG   , then it's not for me. I've only just given away my Hilux because it wasn't seeing enough use, the bB is off to Portugal soon as I'm lending that to a friend indefinitely.
Oh, and that dream Dickshovery would need to come with a driver, preferably an honest one who won't a) TWOC my car and b) bring it back looking like a vehicle that's been dropped into the quarry nose first. Fortunately, my recently upgraded CCTV works just fine and that fool is in custody awaiting his court appearance. The f*****g a******e!
