Practical Classics March issue which has just arrived today - Please accept my humble apologies as I grace pages 140 - 142 with a 'Bodywork Basics' feature with which in this edition guides & demonstrates on how to assess classic car paint & bodywork - this is the first in a series of 4 articles that I am assisting the magazine with - alongside Theo Gillam, the vehicles are live projects and predominantly the photography is taken at my workshop - happy reading

It's because subscribers are issued with their copy before the rest of the readership sees the mag in the shops. Had I thought for a moment that America's equivalent of the late Jeremy Beadle could get everybody their magazines earlier, I'd have moved and taken up citizenship of those Untied States of America..


Thought: I've looked on the Mr Men website and can't find a Mr Trump anywhere, but there is a Mr Fart, could he be the same person?

Erm, right. Yes. So today, thanks to a good old dose of the winter random symptom virus, I've now read June through October cover to cover so when I get around to reading the march edition, we may still be in February.
I like the fact that the mag is enlisting the services of someone who genuinely does a proper job to demonstrate techniques, this always used to be what kept Practical ahead of the alternative publications, some of which would sooner have published complete bollocks than admit they hadn't a clue. Still, it's a real shame that Jalopy ceased to be published before they'd announced the winner of the Allegro in their big competition.
