i went & had a look at a isuzu grafter yesterday, and its a truck thats seems genuine with history, although its not in the proper book, all handwritten into a book supplied by the chaps local commercial dealer.. ive tried to find out what the fuel consumption is for a 2005 3.0 diesel grafter but all i have found is confusing.. its either 10 mpg or 28 mpg.. ive tried google but thats confusing me even more.. anyone have any experience of these things....

That all handwritten into a book would scare me off. Mind you don't get your wallet burnt Rich.

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
Rich, that's a lot of dosh and a lot of miles for a ten year old van. Before you go for it, have the drive train thoroughly checked out; front wheel drive takes an awful hammering. In fact, for the age and mileage (can't get my tongue around kilometerage,) it's got to be worth spending a couple of hundred's worth of shekels and have an engineer's report.
thanks, cars etc are much more expensive here than in the uk.. its got about 70k on the clock in english money.. its got a full history.. it also comes with 6 months guarantee & looks fairly well looked after for a builders truck.. i will keep you all informed happy new year chaps btw!

That Renault thingummyboab looks pretty decent for a builder's truck, don't forget that native French vehicles have the clutch pedal in the middle with the brake on the far right and the throttle is missing as that was borrowed by Belgium last June, but they still haven't negotiated terms for giving it back.
