What classic vehicles have you seen?

Here's my spots from September 2016, let's see what you make of them.

I'm told this is a Dodge of some sort.


These Civics are a rare sight now and much older than you might expect. This one is 24 years old. The styling is very of its time and they've aged well.




That 2CV again.


A massive old Rover 820. Dealer plates, headlight protectors, Rover branded mudflaps... it had it all bar the wheel trims.




Sierra Sapphire, I'm not sure if it's a proper Cosworth or not, I can never tell the difference.


A different Morris Minor to the one previously spotted and charmingly care worn.


In direct contrast is this absolutely pristine '89 Camaro.


Finally one of my all time favourite cars, a Riley RM(E or B, I don't know which) that appeared at a neighbour's on a glorious day.

Mid 80s Dodge D350 crewcab pickup. Probably Ex-military. Very big. I've got one like that, and a 4x4 version, and a couple of single cabs.....

It did have a USAF theme going on, I wasn't sure if it was genuinely ex military or just a theme.

Saw this at a recent show, all the restoration work was done by the owner outdoors and that included the paint, very impressive;



But what really caught my eye was this beauty, I think I could be on the turn

Ooh! the Field Marshall looks absolutely gorgeous, but why am I not seeing more agricultural traffic?

The Escort Estate looks OK too, but what is the fascination with old roof racks these days? They're wasteful, noisy and expensive to buy. Beats a mistress I suppose!

Did you miss me? On the day that my Goodwood Transport pack arrived, so too did an appointment for surgery that I had been waiting for. I phoned Cara, explaining my dilemma, she was so kind, wished me a speedy recovery and promised to keep my place open for 2017.

Not ex-military, there are a couple of differences between those and civilian versions.

Anyway, on my travels in foreign places,I spotted these...





Sadly, both are left permanently outside, and never garaged, despite their apparent condition.
