Anyone familiar with this little pickup truck? 1994 Ford F150 lightning. I just did a trade with a friend of mine who wanted a 4 door saloon. He got one of my Mercedes Benz 560SEL's and I got this. It's a pretty nice truck and everything works. 211k miles but my friend installed a Ford rebuilt 351c about 2 years ago so it runs like new.
No rust but the paint is burnt and it has a few dings which is typical of anything that lives in Texas. I dropped it off at my painter who will give it the once over while I visit the UK to see my parents.
I'm pretty excited about this little truck, It's stupid fast for what it's supposed to be but drinks fuel at an obnoxious rate.

How much is premium in the land of the free these days?
Here it's about £1,000,000 to fill the tank of a family hatchback (£4.07/$5.30ish to the US gallon)

It varies from state to state. In DFW , Texas. It's about $1.80 for a gallon of regular and $2.25 for premium. This truck has two tanks. A trip to my hobby shop and back (140 mile round trip) will run a tank out.
I'm looking to buy an 02 Ford F350 with the 6.8 liter V10 as a replacement tow rig to my 99 Chevy C2500. It will probably be as bad. They cost about 1/3 the price of the same truck with powerstroke diesel I'll only use it when I'm pulling my trailer.
So I managed to buy the tow rig I wanted at auction yesterday. It's a 2002 so not really a classic but with a V10 engine, it's somewhat interesting and will be hauling plenty of classics on my flatbed trailer. Needs paint
