breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

   No sarcasm there, not even a wee bit.
The owner quite clearly has a highly evolved sense of irony. Also, anyone who's prepared to turn out in public in that poor, hideously disfigured vehicle is obviously as hard as nails and not a man to be messed with. I bet he doesn't have to queue for the doctor, 'cos the other people in the waiting room know that if they try to get in his way, he's just going to go out and fetch the axe from the Robin's boot.

PS: Escort van owners be aware that the rear lamp units should be stock ones from, surprisingly enough, an Escort van so, by fitting these LED arrays, the creator of that particular work of, erm, "art?" might have saved one of the once-common Ford light commercial vehicles from scrapyard death by donating the Robin's lamps to the van. The motor tricycle haters just don't think of stuff like that.

I still prefer the Reliant-based fire engine though, as it could save actual lives. Possibly even human ones.

Already proving useful for hauling bags of sand, cement and stones around the gaff.
Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Yes, that's really rather cool. In fact, it may be even cooler than this somewhat refreshing take on the modifed Reliant theme:

If you replaced that little front wheel with lawn mower blades, what a unique lawn mower that would be. It wouldn't do to drink and drive on it mind, or both you, and the grass, would be half cut.

And a whole lot more. I just hope that The Gullwing, in that link, is nothing more than a photoshop. Three wheels on my Gull wing, I feel faint.
