Wow! Who could possibly have known that smashing up modern Micras could make such fascinating viewing? I'm assuming that we were looking at a demolition derby there, why else would such a bunch of total lunatics be allowed onto the track?

I watched it with the sound off. Much as I can't stand B/L cars, I like Clarkson even less. Don't come up with one featuring Evans though, my computer might not cope, I certainly won't.

i thought most micras are driven like that..usually by ladies of a certain age & with the blue rinse.. i suppose ght will be getting one soon ..

One what? My money would be on the blue rinse 'cos he'd sooner do that than be seen alive in a Micra. Probably..

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
I wonder if they are on piecework? One engine in six minutes, that's eighty engines in an eight hour day. At that rate they could soon win back their motor manufacturing industry.
