breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

 Looking for the positive in that image, I find myself grinning at the idea of so many seated pedestrians being elsewhere than on the roads round this way. It's also quite arty, for those of that persuasion.

(The sand looks familiar, was the picture taken at Burning Man by any chance)?

Yeah, it presents very well and isn't covered in seagull pooh - which apparently matters to some folk :? - but now I look back, I can't seem to find an earlier link to the car in your epic thread, so maybe I haven't yet grasped the whole attention paying thing? :x
I do, however, remember looking up its test history and finding that it has needed a fair bit of welding in its past and is needing (cosmetic?) sill work to make it perfect now, but maybe I found it during my regular eBay/C&C/Autotrader trawl through pre-1999 Japanese devices with automatic transmission? I have that set as a search, along with alloy wheels (14", 100mm x4 for 12mm studs, 54.1mm bore, ET45 if anyone wants to flog a nice set of BBS or o/e early MX5 rims..), small steering wheels (pre-2002 Toyota spline pattern, maximum 12" and not one of these modern ones with a flat bottom..), JDM wing (not door) mirrors, oh, and shovels long enough to reach the bottom of a 6' deep hole from standing height above the ground.
