Post pictures and stories about your cars both present and past. Also post up "blogs" on your restoration projects - the more pictures the better! Note: blog-type threads often get few replies, but are often read by many members, and provide interest and motivation to other enthusiasts so don't be disappointed if you don't get many replies.

Me too, who doesn't appreciate a nice MK1 Cortina? I expect absolute perfection here though, the bar has already been set at a very great height by the Lotus' standard of finish!

Certainly got your work cut out there. Looks basically sound but rather crusty around the edges.
What is acceptable in a pasty isn't what you want in a motor vehicle
Landrovers and Welding go together like Bread and Butter. And in the wet they are about as structurally sound
Biting. It's like kissing except there's a winner

Given its age, that's not too bad actually is it? I mean, I've MOT'd worse!
Lots of brown stuff to deal with, but it seems to be fairly free of previous bodgery, so at least you know what you're dealing with.
Looking forward to this one, 'cos based on your previous projects we know how it's going to turn out!
Good stuff - keep the updates coming.
Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Poor old girl's been sitting for quite a while.
Are you going to send her for blasting / dipping?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I will paint strip the large areas and then it will need a light blasting
