Aron, I missed Ryhope yet again. This in spite of having a choice between working cars to take, nothing else to do and a freshly charged camera battery. D'oh!

Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?
The Banham looks much more like a genuine Audi TiT these days, it almost had me fooled. What is that version based on? Sure & it looks bigger than the previous, Rover Metro-derived generation. Nice, as is the Jaguar, but may I choose the larger lady on the push iron please? She looks as though she'd give good cuddle.
And, remembering what brought me to this thread, I passed another AE92 today, only the fourth I've seen on the roads since I bought BML in June, this in spite of my having almost doubled the car's low original mileage, used it to stop a runaway Renault Clio (of which more in a different thread on Tuesday when we fix the damage) and had the back seats folded down to carry eight paving slabs home from the garden centre. I like it low, so they're still in there..

Is that Jag a copy?
Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?
Yes, it's a 2009 Nostalgia Cars tribute act, according to HPI. If you look at the left side of the thing, the very slight ripples in its gelcoat can be seen and there's a side repeater fitted, which wouldn't be required (other than in Italy) on a genuinely old one.
More info on the breed to be found here.
I rather like their SX1000 replica, much more like the real thing, IMHO.
