Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)
had a setback today, ive had to postpone the trip till next year as the bathroom needs a refurb! (part of the floor gave way! ) so a bit more time to hunt!
i do like the 205 suggestion, seen a few about! will have to keep looking, the restoration shows soon so will have a nosey in there!
You would probably get quite a lot of wine in a Rancho, yes, but I think I'm right in saying that these actually have a petrol engine so you'd find it a little sluggish, argumentative and lazy if you fed it on wine.
Shame about the bathroom floor. Darned houses; always something falling off, wearing out or collapsing into a sink hole.
J "Home is where you park it", so the saying goes. That may yet come true..
Talbot Rancho fun, French, gallic charm, bags of room, what's not to like. And the Simca 1100 it's based on shares all the parts and spares, making it cheap to maintain.
ive not seen one outside of the classic car shows! would get plenty of wine in that!
