Can anyone tell me what Car, Bus, Lorry this Smiths gauge is from

Dunno , but Ingersol Rand road compressors have loads of gauges !

It's a pressure gauge for the air in some sort of commercial vehicle or bus braking system. Probably generic and seen in several makes and models, definitely the same as the one in my Diddy wagon.

Wouldn't brakes be a vacuum gauge.???

Not on a commercial, most of those are Air/Hydraulic or full air.

The guage in the OP is one of a pair used in the dual system. I have one with the two guages in the same instrument.
Currently over 35 years worth of fixing 35 boxes.
Hoping to reach 65 years worth of fixing 65 boxes.
