Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I was kinda hoping for Daisy Duke (either one!), but all I got was an old fart trying to get the engine running...

Wouldn't that V8 have woken a few Germans up??

Just in case you accidentally find yourself watching an episode of classic car butchers "rescue"
You should have some of these on standby in case your remote control batteries chose that moment to die

I thought that bloke with the grey US Navy 1944 Willys MB and the Black Country accent (Wednesbury) looked a bit like me as well    and I've got US Navy Willys MB just like the one on Car SOS in my garage. The plot thickens!

'Workshop Phil' tee shirts? The series producer said he was going to get me a base ball cap with it on.

BTW when I finish my next jeep, a February 1942 Ford GPW that will be painted in bright yellow as a USAAF 'Follow Me' one, I intend building a Jeeprod! I've got an engine, TRW 6.2 litre Jag V12, Range Rover diesel rear axle, autobox etc. Front axle...hmmm... I'm not sure what to use but probably a Sherpa modified to take some big discs. I will make a body tub in steel in the style of a Willys MB but wide enough to fit over the Range Rover axle. I've got a spare front grill so that saves the sweat of making one of those! The chassis would be fabricated in RHS and MiGed together. The wheel base would be longer probably Sherpa wheelbase. All painted in Metalflake Olive Drab. Luvverly!

Once hooligan, always a hooligan!

You'll probably like this then Phil:

Purists will have a heart attack, but i find this strangely appealing.
