Who will be the new guys now at PC

Vicki Butler-Henderson used to be a staff writer on Practical, before she found fame and fortune as a presenter on BBC's Top Gear TV series. She wasn't bad at the classic journo lark, but I always thought that she looked a little taller on the telly.

I do apologise for that Amy, I should have said the smarter sexAmy wrote:)
Now there's any idea...I have to say that, although I know I'm in a minority what with being a girl and being able to do more than point at a car and go "oooh, isn't it shiny, I like the colour" (
), it would be nice to see a woman's perspective on the cars in print occasionally.

.Do you work in a garage? If you do, you are brave
I don't work in a garage, no, but I do spend a lot of hours in our workshop with up to four blokes. I'd say they behave themselves, but...

I'd like to see some real, proper knowledgable skilled classic car fans back at the magazine, not overly ambitious know-nothing career journos!

Now Amy - When was the last time I did not agree with you - especially while you were holding your new shiny torque wrench - (well it was you that did not want blood on the wrench) - but I do agree that a womans positive prospective of classics would be good to find in the mags.

My wife is going to enter her story on her beetle to PC , she has had ago at welding, cutting, taken an engine out and back in. Plus helped fit the front beam and other parts as well.
Also very much hands on with her car , got her cutting out panels as well.
