Quiet compressors

Hello,
are belt driven compressors quieter than direct drive and can anyone recommend a quiet one which won't break the bank?
I currently have a 50lt Wolfair direct drive compressor which is rated at 97db and that is too loud for my liking.I read a review of a 90lt Wolfair belt driven compressor in which the buyer was surprised at how quiet it was but on closer inspection of the pics ,a 97db sticker can be seen on that one too!

I have used this type http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/produ ... essor-7100 they are virtually silent but not at all cheap.
