I'm starting a resto of a riley elf, I'm trying to upload photos but it says. 'Photo incompatable'
Any ideas ? (From my iphone )

Hi Joe,
I'm assuming you are trying to attach images to your post on here. That error means the image you are uploading is either in a format that our server does not support or that the file is too large. Photos uploaded to our server must be in JPEG format and smaller than 128kb.

Right I see, can you make them smaller?

you can definitely reduce the size of images. the easiest thing to do is reduce the resolution of the image. if you have a PC then you will have Microsoft's very basic image editing program, Paint.
If you open your image in paint and press the "resize" button on the tool bar, change it to pixels and put the horizontal resolution in at 800 it will automatically adjust the other settings to keep the aspect ratio correct. save the image (as a different file name as you will want to keep the high resolution original safe) and that should be small enough.

You will find that everyone on here loves a thread with pics so nobody will complain if you post a few dozen
