Fire engine anyone ??
Stuck in a yard adjacent to a contract I was sorting on Saturday Early 50's Mercedes Metz ladder turntable fire engine - very rare but very rotten cab - it's been stood a long time It's for sale if you fancy a challenge - stood next to the engine is this 101 Land Rover With a 51 plate Disco alongside it both appear to have been stood a while - I get the impression that anything in the yard is for sale (at the right price)

Is that bin next to the 101 full of large hose pipes - make a fortune on Ebay selling to Somerset or the Thames Valley . . . . . . . 
On a more serious note - how do you find the time and luck to get yourself into these sort of places - there with the day job to sort out the fallen tree and just happen to find that lot . . . .

I think they would both look good on my driveway. However, the Mrs may disagree :S
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.

I got in trouble for bidding on an old railway carriage a couple of years ago. SWMBO didn't think it would look good next to the house, I tried explaining to her that it would look superb and would be a handy granny annex if her mother wants to stay. She didn't agree.

would you rather have your mother in law living in the house or outside somewhere? ideally several thousand miles away.

for my own personal circumstance in relation to the mother in law, the train carriage could work providing it was still connected to a train moving away from me on a one way journey
