How old is Nick Larkin?

I noticed he was in Classic Car weekly, talking about buying cars in the 60s - which makes him considerably older than my dad (who was born in the late 60s :P )

I can only assume PC pays poorly compared to the other mags.

Very few people (besides John Simpson) seem to stay with PC for more than a couple of years. Or maybe that's just the way of a career in motoring journalism, I don't know! :?:

Shame about Fuzz as well but I buy CM every month as well as PC, LRO and LRM plus Triumph World and Mini World and a few others if bored and find they all offer different "experiences". PC to me is more about the cars and road tests where as CM is full of more useful technical tips and advice. My dad has bought PC from issue one and then stopped as it was getting to be the same things time and again. I still find it enjoyable although I don't keep back issues the same way i do CM and LRO.

I liked Fuzz, was never so keen on the other fella (he was a bit to much Top Gear for my likes).

Onwards and upwards eh PC? ;)

Matt (Jones) was a breath of fresh air,I liked him and his taste in motors a lot.
But we always knew he wasn't destined to stay didn't we ?

From what I understand you will see the completion of Matt's E21 BMW in PC (they're always working ahead of print dates). It goes well!
