Speed with Guy Martin

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Guy is a breath of fresh air. He doesn't need a script either which is nice. The first programme last weekend was better I think and quite amazing to see what he achieved.

Was it ever! 112mph on a pushbike was quite some achievement and as for last night's episode, did anyone else notice that as well as being the narrowboatist, engineer and all round good egg, he's one of us?
Yed, that very clearlt tweaked 120 estate as seen in the show eher jhe was in his garage at home:

With apologies for the source of that image. Honest, I didn't go there looking, it just came up.

He sold a Saab 96 to buy that and his Astra van, as seen in the first eipsode, was quite tidily done too, for a modern! 8-)

Me 'n' all. I think the 120 is one of the most beautiful estates ever built and that one certainly isn't a minger.

 - Yes there is an element of wolverine to him! I wondered what the car was in his garage, pretty smart that is too.

I hope one day he manages that elusive TT win.

im confident he will get the win, just a combination of right bike/right conditions and a sprinkling of luck.
