Hello everyone,
I was a member of this forum since the beginning but had to re-enlist after suffering a senior moment with passwords etc. Anyway a bit about me, I own 3 Imps and a Victor FD, been into classic vehicles since I was about 15.
I`m currently involved in making a period film, set in London at the tail-end of 1977. Filming begins this weekend 12th & 13th, and will continue every weekend thereafter until the 2nd weekend of November. The film is completely self-funded and is a non-profit venture. I am thinking that owners of classics closer to the city of London will be best suited, as we cannot offer payment of any kind for supplying your vehicle. The finished film will be submitted to one or more film festivals once complete, will also be available on a dvd to those involved and at some stage, Youtube is likely. Nothing is concrete at this point, however.
We need period correct vehicles, pre 78 registered with correct number plates i.e. not `show` plates and not overly polished either, we want the scene to look as realistic as possible, and not like Heartbeat or Life on Mars. So if you have a tatty 60s vehicle, please bring it along, or if it is a later 70s one in nicer condition, we could use those as well. Commercial vehicles and bikes also! Owner/drivers may also be used as extras if you wish.

Shame your just too far from us, could get you plenty through the club from e-types, rollers, stags and even a handful of classic ferraris.

We are now in a better financial position due to a generous benefactor. So if anyone wishes to offer their car to drive themselves in the film please get in touch through PM.
As stated above, cars need to be period correct. I will pay £80 per day, whether moving or stationary, £140 for a weekend. Filming dates every weekend until last weekend in December.
