Perhaps a guessing game until it arrives!
Hint: it's blue (mainly)

Is it a tractor?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Re: Bonkers
Terry - some might say so.
GN. My last Playboy was damaged and pages stuck together. I don't want that to happen again as the value drops remarkably.
Hint: it has a towbar
I got a phone call this morning and the cheque has arrived. That may mean I'll get it in a week. I suspect I won't be able to be obtuse enough to make this last that long!

Re: Bonkers
A blue tractor would suggest New Holland or McCormick. Classic wise it could be a Ford. (I have lived on a farm for too long)

Re: Bonkers
McCormicks tend to be orangey red. Mind you, there are one or two other makes of blue tractor.
Dammit, I forgot about arceye!
OK smarta**e, you've spoilt the game, now prove yourself - find the reg number!
I'll narrow it down for you - I don't have to pay VED!
Yep, I'm awaiting an alleged S2A Landy. Alleged as it has cloth seats and an S3 dash. It also has a Perkins engine but the DVLA says it has a petrol one!

Aw nu*s, arceye will get the number from the pics!
As I mentioned elsewhere, I have a use for an estate car. However, swapping the Golf isn't an option - it would cost £5K or more to get something "suitable". OTOH, the Landy is under £3K delivered. I could have bought a newer one, but the VED is rather steep compared to the "daily" (more like frightening for a 2001 or newer!) and unlikely to get any cheaper! OK, it still won't take 3m lengths of timber (or an 8x4 sheet of whatever), but I have access to a decent trailer or two and the Landy should just about manage them - though I don't intend going far with it!
I'll try to get some interesting pictures and start a thread in a few days.
