breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

and nudge annoying French cars out of your way
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

rich. wrote:thats not a cissy bar, thats the ladder to get on the roof.. its also handy to climb on to scrape the screen in the winter..
 Is it just me, or would it be easier to open the door and stand on the top of the step to reach the roof. Or has the doorstep long since rotted away?

It's a cissy bar! :P ;)

Do you seriously think your Mrs would allow you to have Christine (all be it with a big bottom)? They are comfortable in a straight line but wallow a lot on windy roads (I hired one for a long weekend a couple of years ago). Saying that I would love to own one even if the Mrs says no more cars.

At least we now know that the reason we don't see more Crayford Williams in the UK is that they're all in France.

I had the chance to get a Crayford William in 1992. I spent the cash on something more useful like booze, tabs and high class professional companionship  . "High Class" being localese for "own hair and teeth, receipts for same can be viewed."
