Hi Phil,
There are a couple of stickies here: http://practicallyclassics.phpbbhosts.c ... um.php?f=2 with instructions on how to post pictures :)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Hi Phil, this website can resize your pics for you http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ or if you would like I can PM you my email address for you to send the images over and I will do it for you. Photobucket is www.photobucket.com and it is an online photo album. It is very easy to use, if you visit the site you can see for yourself :)

Just watched the Anglia one... Was I the only one to wonder about the wisdom of giving such a heavily modified car to a person who had only just passed their test? If the chat was anything to go by the engine sounded like a virtual full race job that was (is?) found in short circuit Hot Rods developing over 150bhp... Hardly the wisest thing for a beginner on the roads to drive... I remember a mate of mine back in the 80s having an Escort with one, could blow just about everything away but wasn't very "public road" friendly as it wasn't very flexible, and as for fuel consumption, it made a V12 Jag look good!

The National Geographic Android application can be used or there's always good old Youtube.
I only have Freeview as it's all that's possible here TV-wise but with t'interweb and gadgets, there are always alternatives. ;)

I did download the android app but couldn't find the show in the listing, do you watch it live or is an i-player type arrangement?

I'm halfway through the cossie episode on youtube :)

The wretched app has just updated itself (why, oh why did I tick the "allow updating" box?) and lo & behold, it's now no longer possible to view current content. Bugger! This happened with Beeb Player when the BBC took exception to its being a working alternative to iplayer for older handsets that didn't support the HTML5 content or current Flash.

There's no link to the earlier downloader in any of the unofficial Android repositories either - unless I've missed one - but no worries as at least it's downloadable from youtube in HD and I'm now working my way through the series doing just that as it'll last until the boxed set comes out.
If only they would provide a boxed set, this would be that rare thing; a worthwhile use for the concept!

Ah good, at least I'm not going mad. But I'm still not havingany luck ffinding it on YouTube with the exception of the cosworth episode which I have now watched. If you could show me where I'm going wrong I would be most grateful!
