After you removed a few too many screws? ;)

there should be a ring which 1/4 turn & it slides down the sleeve.. then the plastic cover on the torch comes off. (normally)

I've got the torch cover off that was simple but pull the liner out is where I am stuck. It fits into a white block (ceramic)? and doesn't want to come out!

The one on my SIP has a sort of spring loaded ring around the end of the liner. Pushing it forwards releases the liner which can then be pulled out of the torch. Can you see anything similar?

OK guys this is what I’m up against. This is the nozzle end and circled is where the liner fits into the white block (ceramic?) but I’m not sure if just the black liner should pull out or all of it including the brass connector. I’m thinking all of it because the new liner has attached to it what looks to be a replacement brass connector.

The machine end is easy, it is simply clamped just after the wire feed roller.

Any suggestion gratefully received!!

It's a compression olive. Try undoing the big nut at the torch end and it should slip out through the front.

I've undone the nut but it doesn't make any difference. The nut won't open much as it hits the shroud around the neck. Do you think the brass fitting on the new liner is intended to slide into that white block?
