I've just watched the first two episodes tonight and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed both. I can honestly say that my 16 year old daughter also loved every moment of them - she is a confirmed classic car enthusiast, Metro fan and owner of a 1996 Rover 100 Knightsbridge (awaiting 17th birthday and some driving lessons). Well done Fuzz, Tim and all the production team.

Another good show.How did Fuzz overcome the immobiliser permanently? Those nasty plastic wheel arch covers really are an absolute hiding place for rust.The less plastic thats fitted on the exterior of a vehicle the better.

I enjoyed the Sierra one too, this show just gets better and better.

Can I ask Fuzz....did it blow it's head gasket at the MoT station? Seemed to be an awful lot of steam coming out of that tail-pipe, yet the radiator needed replacing to cure it?

Yeah, it looked that way.

We replaced the rad' but then it it had to be sent away to a Cosworth specialist for further work and rectification, as we were onto the next car by then.

Needless to say, nothing went smoothly with the Cossie after that and it took many months to sort the engine properly.

Next time, I'll avoid such cars unless I have a much larger budget, as it would likely have been cheaper to have purchased a freshly rebuilt engine with a warranty.

It did seem to be fighting you every step of the way. I too have had a car like that, frustrating, more so when under the constraints of having to make a tv show out it I bet.

They should have followed the procedure seen in another resto show, and just swapped it for another one half way through and not told anyone hoping no-one would notice...... Although maybe they're not enough of a "master mechanic" to think of something like that...
