here we go again

Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)

here we go again

hi everyone being a fan of classic cars it makes my blood boil when i heard about yet another act of mindless vandalisim yes you've got it our pet hate the subject of banger racing rare classic cars not being satisfied with with smashing up over 100 versions of the austin westminster/wolsley 6/99 6/110's they then went on to do the same with p4 and p5 rovers then followed that orgy of destruction with a "celebration" of 50 years of the ford cortina by destroying over 130 of a this rare model and now for the icing on the cake they are now going to dish out the same treatment in a banger meeting featuring only mk1 and mk2 granada's for crying out loud have they not destroyed enough of these rare cars already and will they not be satisfied until they have finished off the few remaining car's left in existance don't get me wrong ive nothing personally against banger racers in fact i have friends who race bangers themselves but they only use reatively modern cars like vectras mondeo's and honda civic's as there are 1000's of them still about and not a few 100 left if they want to smash something up let them smash up the modern stuff and leave the old classic's alone rant over for the time being

Really sorry, and don't take it personally, but in the past every time this subject has come up it ends up in a HUGE argument with lots of people getting very nasty and personal to one another, and is very damaging to the forum. For that reason I'm locking this thread and hope that you will all understand.

Suffice it to say that this forum does not condone or support the destruction of old cars, be it for "entertainment" or any other reason.

Regards - Admin.
