That too

When I am in the Morris or the Midget, there is only one stalk, so you can't go wrong. The V8 has two, as has my mother's MGB GT and whilst I hardly ever drive cars with "Foreign" stalks and haven't owned one since I sold my Scirocco in 2003, I still have a tendency to occasionally turn on the wipers, instead of the indicators in the B or the V8

.
Mind you with modern cars, that have insect eye headlamps, you can't always see the indicators anyway

. A lot of people do seem so wrapped up in their own importance, that they drive as though there is nobody else on the road. For example, there are the
dickhead divers, who not being in proper control, don't seem to be able to slow down and change down when turning right and often (With no signal) just lunge into said right turn, cutting the (Blind) corner, assuming (Hoping?) there is nobody coming the other way. I have to confess, that an uncle of mine used to do that, in his efforts to save fuel. He would kill the engine half a mile or so out and try to coast (Down a slight gradient) all the way to his drive

. If it had ever gone wrong, on the right turn into the estate (Only once did I ever experience this procedure), I'd have loved to have seen the insurance claim form; I'm sure it would have made the Jasper Carrott show. I can imagine something like
I've done £000s of damage but I have saved a float chamber full of fuel
