There was a very smart Zodiac in Ashbourne earlier.
I really should fit my "in car camera" so i can pull stills of interesting things off it!
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

All three of my Minis (The last two shown below) had those Speedwell grille release nuts; they were so useful for doing the points and other stuff down on the side (Front) of the block.

Fast forward 20 - 30 years, just seen a TR6 go past the shop; more accurately heard then saw.

Later on, the same happened, with what I think was an old Bentley. It certainly sounded like a four with a 10 mile long stroke and I caught sight of the back of it as it disappeared towards Brecon.

Lost count today, what with the number and customers. In one way I was envious but with the sky full of incontinent pigs, I'm glad my cars are at home in the garage :!:

The first was an MGB GT and then an MGB GT V8 went by. It was red which is unusual for a V8. Then they came thick and fast; Alvis TD21, Rover P3, TR3s, Riley RME; I may have spotted a Lanchester......it was great.......just a shame about the weather   . Flaming June.....I can think of a stronger word to describe it  :!:

Later that morning.... a big old Bentley went the other way. It was misfiring a touch but what a magnificent beast :D . Shame about the poxy pig poo weather; organising anything in June, July or August is a waste of time    :!: MMM that car has just gone the other way; not sure it was a Bentley (I haven't had a clear view of it). It's BRG and it had a six cylinder engine, that sounded as if it has a 10 foot stroke. Wasn't misfiring this time; just a bit of popping on over run :D :!: Hood was down; well done that man; Id imperfectum manet dum confectum :!:
