Flasher unit-singer gazelle

Hi all
does anyone know where they have hidden the flasher unit on a singer gazelle mk v early model. ? Have hung upside down and cant see a dam thing because of steel bits and the ash tray.
also have a good dynamoe but the ignition light doesnt go out when its revving . Is this control box problem ?

Could be, try bridging the D and F terminals briefly to see if it starts working. If it does, then clean the regulator contacts, that's the ones over the A1 and A terminals and reset the gap to 15 thou

Thanks pete will do that first chance -- still havnt found the flasher unit though guess i shall have to remove a few bits and poke deeper . cheers John
