Yeah be no problem, well apart from the DVLA themselves, it should get an appropriate age related plate, I believe there is a time limit after the date of manufacture to get a current issue plate, I think it's about 3 years, which is why there are several 08 plate Rovers and MGs as it was last chance to get them on the new plate.

What a Cortina! It is probably going to require some relatively minor work to make fully roadworthy after being effectively stood up for the last 30 odd years, but what a rare (in terms of mileage, originality and overall condition) and unique find this car is. It's one of those cars that if you drive it regularly, it becomes just another Cortina. Although still a very nice example, some of that uniqueness is lost. Mind you, cars are for driving and I can think of far worse ways of throwing ones money away than buying this car and enjoying it to the full.

Love to know what else he had. Looking at the TC Harrison website,trying to see which one it is. Might have been Cuth. But he died in 1981It (Cortina) was immediately snapped up by Midlands millionaire TC Harrison, who had a number of Ford dealerships around the country and built up a celebrated collection of 'last ever' models.
