save a triumph (south wales)

Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)

I work for the local council and we are tipping next to sheedy's scrapyard in Abercarn, there is a Triumph that has been brought in to be crushed but looks good enough to restore, its complete and looks fairly sound,so come on you welsh Triumph fans get down there and save it!

I have emailed the link to South Wales Classic Car Club. There is a "Club", who meet at the Crown Pub Pontllanfraith (I think it's still weekly on Wednesdays) but their communications are very haphazard and I don’t think there is enough for their members to find out via smoke signals and drums.
