Yep, it's an FSO. Mine was new in 1987 and had the Polski-Fiat badge on the grille - FIAT above on the red background, Polski below on the smaller, white section - rather than the circular FSO-style one. Same colour as that too. Great cars these, how did Fiat make the steering so much lighter and the general feel of the 125 so much more pleasant than that of the Lada whose steering box, idler and other bits were exactly the same parts? :?

The other clue to the car's identity is that it's an estate. Those (derived from the saloon) were only ever built in the Polish factory, never in Italy, where a different - Zagato-styled - Estate was made in limited quantities. ;)
Here's an FSO 125P saloon:

And the Italian-built version:

That estate has to be one of the coolest things this side of chocolate milkshake. 8-)

 Yep, yours all seem to be at peace with each other.

Rob, is that a Chevette HS I can see there by any chance? Just between Earl Hickey and the Mrs Brady lookalike.

Two passed the shop earlier on today. The first was (I think) and MGA; by the time the second went by, I had got to the door (Luckilly there were no customers in at the time) and I saw it was an Alfa Romeo GT Junior/GTV type car (Didn't see the front). I hung about a minute but no more went past. Hope they got where they were going before the poxy weather   went pear shaped.

:( ... no photties, as driving!!

Today, at Montrose, a curvy GrannieMk1 in white. Turned in to the 'Bridge End Garage', by the railway viaduct.

& A720 Ebro bypass - going east - a green Rover TC.... driven by very slightly built guy, ginger hair.

Oh!.... before I forget, just North of Dundee - A9, beyond Morrisons & just after the Speedcamera, but before the Tractor dealer, a Metallic blue Arrow (Singer or Sunbeam) parked facing the road.... looks quite clean :P

I saw a green G-reg Morris Minor when I was outside earlier, putting out the recycling for collection.
