That's an LE - one of the last 500 cars built before Abingdon closed. They did pewter GTs and bronze two seaters.
Rules exist for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.

MG Midget 1500, MGB GT V8, Morris Minor Traveller 1275, MG Midget 1275 & too many bicycles.

:o Behind a tree, or did you find the world's most accommodating public bog?

I'm excited, really excited. How? 'Cos I saw a Gordon Keeble today that wasn't just a picture on the interweb or a trailer quean on a show field. It was on the A1 about seven miles East of Edinburgh and I wanted it. Lots.

I live next to a busy main road, so I often see a good selection of classics going by, the most bizarre probably being a trolley bus, self-propelled by the diesel generator it was towing. This morning I saw a beautiful pre-war Aston Martin. The driver, clad in a leather flying jacket and flying helmet grinned as he went past. It's one of those times you wish you had a camera ready
