[anorak]Strictly speaking, it's only Jack when its attached to a military vessel,[/anorak] so if you've got one on your fishing dinghy, that's still a Union Flag and will also get you laughed at by people in non-home made, expensive craft.
No idea why though
, but someone will doubtless summon up the enthusiasm to look it up soon.

Do you mean something like this?Signum03 wrote:Hi , I hope someone can help I have been an avid reader of practical classics for many years , around 6 months to a year ago there was a feature of a Morris minor which had vinyl stickers of the union jack accros the bonnet and wings I want to do this to my a40 but need the picture, I have scoured through my magazines but have a few missing and i bet it was in one of them , can someone help please !!!!

Re: Photo needed!
Wouldn't you think that a car in the Heritage Collection would have had the correct indicator/marker lens? Those are Minor or MK2 A40 and as such, don't extend far enough beyond the lamp surrounds. More anorakism I know, but it's a pet peeve of mine.

Re: Photo needed!
If, however, you were flying the union jack from your boat or the RN's boat it would mean that a person of royalty was on it I
