Forum users meet up...

Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)

Forum users meet up...

#1 Post by admin »

Ha wo, i thought it might be interesting to organise a Forum meet up. Whaddya think? NEC Classic Motor Show on the Saturday at the PC stand perhaps? Any other ideas? Restoration show at Stoneleigh perhaps? Both? A chance to put faces to forum names?

I'm up for either of those. I'd planned to come along and make myself known to you anyway, as an admin. It would be nice to meet the other admins, although I suspect that Brett is unlikely to show up :)

If anyone is going to the Malvern show on Oct 9th look me up on the Rover P6 Club display!!!
Hopefully we will be set up by the arena.
And if you are coming in a P6 or any other pre 1980 Classic Rover then come and join us.

Also I hope to be going to the Stoneleigh resto show as the Rover P6 Club will have a display there.

I will probably be at the NEC on the Sunday as that is most convenient to the other lads. We try to organise a minibus as it is a 400 mile round trip from Pembrokeshire. I did go to the stand last year but no one else was there. Perhaps we should all wear a baseball cap with Practical classics on it! Look forward to meeting other forum members there

Another one here for an NEC meet. Last time we tried it, I met up with Young Farmer at the PC stand but nobody else turned up!

Strangely I think that was a week or so before the plug was pulled on the site!

Well you had about as much warning as i did with the old forum, believe me. We should sort a day and a time. By the way, i'll be there all three days, so if there are any forum bods about on any of the days, why not pop over at midday and say hello?
