Re: My first car was.....

Well, I thought it was good at the time.....a 1.4 Renault 18TL in red (pic for illustration only). I had it for a year before the big end went!

My car choices, in general, have improved since!

Re: Geordie's Nissan Sunny's

Bit of an update. I don't have the Sunny Coupe anymore.

An opportunity came up to swap it for a 1991 3rd Generation Honda Prelude (the type with the pop up headlights), and I thought, well, in for a penny, in for a pound.

Well, bearing in mind the Sunny coupe had a knackered master brake cylinder ...

Re: Introductions

Hi all,

I'm Chris, and I've got a thread up in the members cars & projects section of the forum, but had overlooked this introductions area, so I thought I'd better say Hi in here too.

I live to the west of Gateshead in a village which time has sort of forgotten haha - tons of retro stuff bombing ...

Re: Geordie's Nissan Sunny's

Twelve Quid's not too sharp for a black cab in the capital. It costs £15 to come from Ashington back out to Ellington (less than a six mile trip) in a shagged-out, J-plate Sierra or Kia something-or-other at 11pm, stone-cold sober and with no rivers to cross nor any traffic lights, dual carriageway ...

Re: Geordie's Nissan Sunny's

Yeah, but there's always Immodium Junior - nature's answer to Radweld.

Sorry, I'm enjoying looking at these Nissans. Loving the Sunny auto lots . You'd want to be a rich man to go down by train though  . Last two cars I've bought down South I've used the bus; only £14 one way, Ashington or ...

Geordie's Nissan Sunny's

Hi guys, new here. From what I have seen you have a good site going.

I thought I'd post up some pics of my 3 Nissan Sunnys.

The one I have had the longest is a 1990 1.8 Sunny ZX Coupe, which I bought back in December 2009. Love this motor, and so few of them left. I took this one to the Ryhope ...

Re: Ryhope Classic Car Show, 30/10/2011.

Hi guys, just signed up yesterday. Looks like a cracker of a site you have here.

I was at this Ryhope meet, and as has been said before, what a cracker it was. I was there last year in my Sunny coupe when the heavens opened, so although I wasn't in anything retro this year (my Primera Wagon), what ...
