I have an old video about the Mossie, it goes in to great detail about the technical specs of the plane, the extensive use of balsa wood and the wing loading etc..

It also goes in to detail about armaments on the plane and showed WW2 footage of them strafing enemy warships using rockets ...

Re: Gutted :( - MY MG got punched in a fight !

Hi

I can recall a friend of my brothers (Both are in the bodywork trade) using a machine that welded nails onto dented areas in strategic parts, they then had a slide hammer that gripped the nails for pulling out the dents!

Once the dent was out enough the nails were ground off and the area was ...

Hi all

I also collect (and try to restore!!) airguns too, I favour older vintage guns but have a few modern ones too..

Some of 'the babies'!! :D

Here are most of my BSA rifles, there's an Airsporter Stutzen not in the pic as it's in bits! and a 1906 BSA Air rifle as I'd forgotten that I had it ...

I quit just over 2 years ago.

In 2006 I went from smoking 50 a day to zero, I couldn't use patches as they were removing rings of skin and leaving open wounds :(

Our Midge!! (1979 Midget)..

Hi all

Here's our Midge, I 'won' her on fleabay for £450..

The car was local to me so I arranged to view it first, all the floors, boot and underbonnet were rock solid but most of the panels had tinworm at the bottoms..

Our Midge..

Re: Introductions

Hello John,
Any chance of a thread (in the "general" o/t section maybe) about the watches please? Surely I can't be the only other one here with a timepiece fascination, Smith Sectrics and coin-op "tick" (credit) clocks mostly mostly, but one or two interesting watches have found their way to me ...
